About

All of my garments are designed, cut and sewn by myself in my forest studio in rural Victoria.
With a focus on small batch production, made to order garments and one-off pieces, I aim to make high quality, experimental garments that feel good to wear.
I really value using natural fibres, vintage & second hand fabrics, not only to minimise my works environmental footprint but because I believe that they make better clothes. I use both drapery and pattern cutting for my garments, with a medley of machine and hand sewn technique’s as I feel that the connection between hands and fabric is important to the energy of a piece of clothing, for both the maker and wearer.
When designing a collection my inspiration almost always starts with sourcing material both new and found, and from there playing with shapes and silhouettes, concepts and techniques that excite and interest me.
‘Sirens’ my latest work , features a collection of hand-sewn, multi-seasonal garments, made to encapsulate the fluidity and magic of the natural world, through organic forms, asymmetrical drapery and a cocktail of natural fibres, dead-stock and found materials. The campaign is accessorised with native feathers, twine and delicate handmade leg garters.
